Hi! My name is Jessica, and I’m an Albanian self-taught artist with a passion for creating personalized handmade bags.
I’ve always been passionate about and appreciative of handmade items. After trying everything from string art to painting to sewing, my heart found its home in making beaded bags. This journey started just before I moved to Galicia in 2024. At that time, my life took a huge turn, and everything changed, except for my passion for crafting and creating—and, of course, my cat, Mia Rue.
LaRue became my rock, the best way to cope with all the changes in my new life. It’s my connection to the past and my way of embracing a new future. It’s a bridge between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, and sometimes, it feels like those two worlds are meeting!
From my small country to a bigger one, I’ve always followed the same path… LARUE.
